Step pulse multiplier

Thank you for purchasing the G901X step pulse multiplier. The G901X is covered under a manufacturer's
warranty for one year from the date of purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied with the G901X you may return it
for a full refund, minus shipping charges, provided it is like new cosmetically and electrically.
To connect the G901X, follow the directions below:

REMOVING THE COVER:

1.) Remove the two 2-56 phillips-head screws on the bottom of the drive.
2.) Gently lift the back of the cover upward until the LED clears the rectangular hole
3.) Slide the cover backwards while still lifting until it clears the drive.

REMOVING THE OPTOISOLATOR

1.) Locate the socketed HCPL2531 optoisolator located opposite the capacitor, near the 12 pin 5mm
connector.
2.) Using needle nose pliers, pull straight up on the optoisolator to remove it from the sockets.

INSERTING THE G901X

1.) Orient the G901X so the 8 connection pins, located under the jumper block, are closest to the 12 pin 5mm
connector on the drive.
2.) Line up the 8 connection pins with the 8 socket pins on the drive and push down firmly, careful not to
bend any of the pins underneath the G901X.

SET THE DESIRED STEP PULSE MULTIPLIER JUMPER SETTINGS

1.) Using the diagram below, set the G901X jumpers to the appropriate setting for your application.
