strings. If you use strings with a di ferent gauge, adjustments
might be necessary. After replacing the strings and tuning the
bass, press the strings carefully towards the nut and the saddle
roll with your thumb (see images below). This will improve
intonation and sound and especially for E and B string give you
higher string tension and brighter harmonics. You can purchase
sandberg strings in the following sizes:
medium gauge: 4-string: 40–100
5-string: 40–128
heavy gauge:
4-string: 45–105
5-string: 45–130 (B = tapper core)

cleaner.
To take care of your rosewood ingerboard you should use the special
sandberg
ingerboard oil. The special ingredients prevent your fretboard
from dehydration and give it a silky shine.
You and your bass deserves a good leather strap that feels comfortable and
worn in at once. Make a statement for your choice of instrument: the original
sandberg
soft leather strap.
