ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Connecting the poles a. Insert the extension pole (C) into the handle pole (B) and slide together. b. Lower the collar (I) on the extension pole (C) to the threaded base on the handle pole (B) and rotate clockwise to secure. - Page 13 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3a. To install the battery: a. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS To turn on and off • Slide the lock-off lever (G). Squeeze the trigger switch (H) to start. • Release the trigger switch (H) to stop. Note: The lock-off lever must be engaged before the trigger is active. Once the trigger is engaged, release the lock-off lever. - Page 15 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS • Release the trigger as soon as the cut is completed. Failure to follow proper cutting procedures will result in the bar and chain binding and becoming pinched or trapped in the limb. If this should happen: • Stop the motor and remove the battery from the pole saw.

Leave this operation for professionals. •... - Page 17 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Chain & Bar Assembly During use, the chain will stretch and become dull. Debris and saw dust can also collect underneath the bar cover. Use the following steps to maintain your pole saw and chain. • Release chain tension by turning the chain tension screw (M), located behind the bar and chain, counterclockwise with the wrench (Q).

It is designed for Bar Lube Reservoir chains and chain oilers and is formulated to perform over a wide temperature range with no dilution required.
