Cooking with the Temperature Probe
When the Cook cycle
ends, "End" will
show on the Display
and 4 beeps
will
sound. (You can stop the beeping
by
opening
the door or by touching
CANCEL.) "End" will remain on the
Display
and a reminder
tone will
sound every 60 seconds
until the
door is opened
or CANCEL is touched.
The Display
will then show the time
of day.
The Temperature
Probe helps take guesswork
out of cooking
roasts and larger
casseroles.
The probe
is designed
to turn off the oven when it senses the temperature
you choose
between
90°F and 200°F See your MICRO MENUS Cookbook
for helpful
information
in cooking
different types of food.
DO THIS...
1.
Insert at least Y3
of the Temperature
Probe into the
food. [See page
20.)
DO THIS...

Touch PROBE TEMP.
5. Touch Number
Pads for the
desired
final tempemture
between
90°F and 200°F.
6.
Touch COOK POWER.
(Option:
Skip to Step 8 if you
want to use HIGH power.)

oven and plug the
probe
into the
socket on the oven
wall.
THIS HAPPENS...

Make sure the
probe
and probe
cable
do not touch
any part of the
oven interior.
Close
the door.
The PROBE TEMP Indicator
Light
will come on and the Display
will
show "F "
The Display
will show the numbers
you touched
in the order
you
touched
them. This example
shows
a final cooked
temperature
of
about
140°F
The COOK POWER Indicator
Light will
come on and the Display
will show
"P-HI!' This shows the oven is pre-
programmed
to cook at full (HIGH)
power.
