Installing hardware
Set the jumper on your hard disk to 'master' mode.
Slide the hard disk into the docking station and press it until the hard drive is in place.
Plug the power adapter into the DC-IN port on the back of the docking station and into a power outlet.
Press the power button on the back of the docking station to turn it ON.
Plug the USB 3.0 cable into the back of the docking station and into a free:
USB 3.0 slot of your computer for up to 5 Gb/s data transfer rates.
USB 2.0 slot of your computer for up to 480 Mb/s data transfer rates.
The computer should now detect the new drive. For Windows

Note: F or Windows
2000/XP/Vista/7, the default choice is NTFS. However, you can also choose to format
the drive with FAT32 but ONLY IF the drive size is smaller or equal to 32 Gb.
Removing the hard disk
Make sure you safely remove the hard disk with the Windows
Then press the button on the front/top of the docking station to remove the hard disk.
