475 Lunos E2 Assembly, Installation And Operation Instructions

Before starting installation, make sure that power is
switched off. Installation should only be performed
by a licensed professional.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Step 1: Attach Wires to Connectors

• Using a small flat head screwdriver, loosen the 3 small wire
anchor screws on each side of the Wire Connector
• Insert the black, red and gray wires from the Rotary Switch
into the 3 slots of the male connector and tighten the screws
• Insert the black, red and gray wires from Universal controller
into corresponding slots of female connector, tighten screws

Step 2: Plug in wire connectors (male to female)

• Attach the Rotary Switch to the Universal controller by
connecting the Wire Connector halves together. BE SURE
WHEN THE TWO HALVES ARE JOINED TOGETHER, THE WIRES
ALIGN ACCORDING TO THEIR COLOR:
-RED CONNECTS TO RED
-BLACK CONNECTS TO BLACK
-GRAY CONNECTS TO GRAY

Step 3: Install the LUNOS Universal Controller (5UNI)

• Install the LUNOS Universal Controller into the double gang
electric box: Connect the 12V DC output of the transformer and
18/3 wires to the e2 fan as shown in the LUNOS HRV

Step 4: Attach the Rotary Switch to the Switch Plate

• Remove the nut and washer from the Rotary Switch stem
• Insert the stem into switch plate from the behind. Line up the
anchor tab on the Rotary Switch with the locking hole.
• Push tab into hole.
• Place the washer and nut onto the switch shaft and tighten
