A/B power amplifiers. Devine's D-series amplifiers feature a metal housing and a clean front panel combined with ventilation slots to ensure proper cooling. Fan-cooling ensures that the components do not overheat when they are working at full capacity.
Safety instructions WARNING! Always keep this device away from moisture and rain! Hazardous electrical shocks may occur! WARNING! Only connect this device to a suitable power outlet. This device is intended to work on a specific AC current. Connecting it to power outlets with other voltages may result in permanent damage and possible hazardous situations, such as fire or electric shocks! WARNING! Be careful when operating this device.

- The ON/OFF switch of the Devine D-series is used for delay startup only. This way, an entire rack filled with D-series amplifiers which are all connected to a mains outlet will not generate a sudden power peak. If the D- series amplifiers are connected to a mains outlet and the switch is in the 'OFF' position, some components will still receive an electrical current.

Guidelines for speaker systems WARNING! This amplifier is intended to drive passive loudspeakers. These may produce sound pressure levels which can be harmful for humans and animals when used incorrectly and/or without protection. Possible permanent hearing loss may occur when humans or animals are exposed to high sound pressure levels for anextended period of time.

Introduction Box contents: 1x D-series amplifier (D-200, D-400, D-600) 1x power cable IEC C13 to Schuko (3x 1 mm²) 1x power cable IEC C13 to UK (3x 1 mm²) Unit and accessory inspection - Always use the supplied power cable to connect the unit to a power supply. If the cable appears broken or has visible damage, do not use it.
Using the amplifier The Devine D-series amplifiers are built to last. To get the most out of your speaker system, it is recommended you read this manual thoroughly to familiarise yourself with all the options and features of this amplifier. Correct use of the amplifier will ensure that the expected lifespan of this device remains unchanged, as overload of this power amplifier may result in damage to your power amplifier and/or speaker system.
Devine does not recommend connecting a signal source without a clear volume setting display (like on an MP3-player or smartphone), as it is not possible to see if the signal is below or above 0dB. However, it is possible to connect such a device to an audio mixer to see how high the outgoing volume level of your device is.
The inputs of this power amplifier may be used as signal pass connections to daisy-chain multiple amplifiers. Devine does not recommend linking more than three D-series power amplifiers in a daisy-chain setup so as to prevent any loss of signal level and quality.
Power input, fuse and electrical information When it comes to power connection, the Devine D-series units are identical, and all work with a standard IEC C14 input which can also be found on devices such as desktop computers. The protective fuse is installed directly next to the power input, as connected Any information and illustrations shown in this user manual are subject to change without further notice.
It is possible to stack amplifiers directly on top of one another when mounted in a rack or as desktop stack. No more than three Devine amplifiers should be stacked on top of one another unless there is some extra space between every three amplifiers.

Technical specifications The Devine D-series amplifiers (D-200, D-400 and D-600) share almost the exact same electronic circuitry. The differences in the series are usually the power ratings and the larger power capacity in in some of the devices. As the technical details are nearly identical, the table below describes the specifications and values for all amplifiers.
