    Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Guardian Fall Protection Rescue Winch. This manual User Information must be read and understood in its entirety, and used as part of an employee training program as required by OSHA or Date of First Use: any applicable state agency.

    Product Specific Applications Use of equipment in unintended applications may result in serious WARNING injury or death. Maximum 1 attachment per connection point. For all applications, the Rescue Winch MUST be used in combination with a tripod deemed compatible by a Competent Person, such as the Guardian Arc-O-Pod (part # 15030). Material Hoist: The Rescue Winch may be used to lift and lower materials and equipment.

    Installation and Use 1. Away from all fall hazards, set-up compatible tripod according to tripod manufacturer’s instructions. 2. Ensure selected installation location for corresponding tripod is free of any debris, loose materials, and slippery surfaces. Tripod installation location must meet all criteria specified in tripod manufacturer’s instructions.

    Maintenance, Cleaning, and Storage If Rescue Winch fails inspection in any way, immediately remove it from service, and contact Guardian to inquire about its return or repair. Cleaning after use is important for maintaining the safety and longevity of Rescue Winch. Remove all dirt, corrosives, and contaminants from Rescue Winch before and after each use.

    Inspection Log Date of First Use: __________________. Product lifetime is indefinite, as long as it passes pre-use and Competent Person inspections. User must inspect prior to EACH use.
