  • Page 2 The CORVID is intended for intermediate to advanced pilots who seek a high-performance wingsuit that is suitable for modern technical Wingsuit BASE jumping. The CORVID is a large surface area wingsuit that should only be flown by pilots who meet the INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED suit requirements described on the CORVID webpage (and every other wingsuit product page) at www.squirrel.ws, and...
  • Page 3 Attaching Your Suit and Gearing Up For a comprehensive video on how to attach your container to your wingsuit, please watch our www.squirrel.ws/gearingup Gearing Up video: Zipper Bungees The bungees that hold the zippers tight to the main lift webbing (MLW) of your harness must always be connected.
  • Page 4 Airfoil Cross-Section (“Arm Foam”) Options Your CORVID is shipped with 5mm black foam, which is inserted in the arms. The 5mm sheet foam helps to smooth out the leading edge of your wingsuit. It is only moderately restrictive during the pull and riser access.
  • Page 5 Holding Your Grippers, And Positioning The Leading Edge Of Your Suit Holding your grippers correctly is an important part of controlling your CORVID. The Profile Gripper is designed to be gently cradled between thumb and forefinger. It is NOT necessary to hold the gripper itself, tightly.
  • Page 6 You may experiment with opening them to reduce internal pressure in the arm and leg wings, such as to change the feel of suit during deployment, but the CORVID’s full performance can only be experienced with zippers fully closed. Make zipper-checks a part of your pre-flight checklist, and ensure they are set symmetrically and in the planned position.
  • Page 7 Sleeping And Bathing Your Squirrel Don’t smother your Squirrel! When it’s hibernating, it likes to breathe and relax in a cool, dry, comfortable nest. Do not store your suit for long periods of time in a tightly folded or compressed manner.
