    Chassis assembly Fit the 4 angle brackets to the front and rear panels using 1 x flat washer and 1 x plain nut (provided). At this stage just fit them “finger tight”. M4 Plain Nut Attach the earth cable to the captive stud on the rear panel M4 Plain Nut using 2 x M4 Shakeproof washers...
  • Page 50 Install the main PCB to the rear panel. Secure the make and female XLR connectors to the rear panel using the 4 Tri-rondular screws providied. [Do not over-tighten them, the plastic of the XLR’s is not very strong]. If you have not already done so..Fit the “push” release button to the female XLR. Secure the IEC inlet to the rear panel using the 2 x M3 x 10mm screws and 2 x M3 Nyloc nuts provided.
  • Page 51 Put a metal standoff (M3 x 3mm spacer - provided) onto each of the 11 captive studs of the base panel. Place the large insulator over the captive studs / spacers. [Ensure that any excess material has been removed where the insulators were snapped apart] Install the main PCB / rear panel assembly over the captive studs / spacers.

Secure the base panel to the rear panel (using the 3 x M3x6mm chassis screws provided).
  • Page 53 Secure the 2 side panels to the rear and base panels (using the 8 x M3x6mm chassis screws provided). Remove the plastic bezel from the meter assembly. Mount the plastic bezel into the faceplate.
  • Page 54 Secure the meter assembly to the faceplate using the 2 x M3 washers and nuts previously removed. Solder the meter cable to the meter (Pink wire to positive terminal. White wire to negative terminal) Remove the nuts and washers from the 6 rotary switches (and discard). Install the switch PCB assembly into the faceplate.
  • Page 55 Insert the LED through the hole in the faceplate and solder the LED to the underside of the switches PCB The longer if the two leads is closest to the corner bracket. Fit the knobs using a small flathead screwdriver (knob colour may vary from that shown). [Tighten up the right hand screw first - otherwise the knob turns while you are tightening it].
