5.1 DIAGNOSIS FLOWCHART

Troubleshooting
Step 0: Preliminary confirmation
Confirm the following items before checking
Do screws of COAX
Jack securely tighten?
OR connect GND wire of
DSP JIG B'D to chassis.
Yes
To Step 1
Step 1: BtoB connector
CP200,CN206,CP105
BtoB connector
Are the
No
connectors securely
inserted?
Yes
*CN206,CP200 connectors
To Step 2
doesn't connection in case
of DSP JIG B'D use.
Step 2: Regulator IC
REG103 (Pin 3)
(to chassis)
Is the
No
voltage of around
5 V input?
Yes
REG103 (Pin 2)
(to chassis)
Is the
No
voltage of 3.3 V
output?
Yes
*The I/O power of DSP Assy is OK
ZD200 kathode
Is the
No
voltage of 2.5 V
output?
Yes
*The IC106 power of DSP Assy
To Step 3

Tighten screws securely.
Turn the power off and
insert the connectors
securely.
Check the REG103 and
MAIN Assy.
Replace REG103.
Check the ZD200 2.4 VB
and IC106.

Yes
REG101, REG102 (Pin 2) (to chassis)

voltage of 1.2 V

a 24.576 MHz
output?
Yes
IC102 (Pin 17)
Is there
a 24.576 MHz

parallel connection.

Replace REG101, 102.

Check the path to pin 6, 7 of IC109.
Replace XTAL101.

Check the path to XTAL101.
