Electrical safety Check that the voltage selector is set to the correct voltage before connecting to the mains supply. You should only plug the appliance into a 100-127V / 220-240V AC, 50/60Hz supply. Connecting it to other power sources may damage the appliance and will invalidate the guarantee.

To use 1. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the Voltage selector switch on the base of the kettle is set to the correct voltage for the mains supply in the area that you are in, typically 230V for the UK and Europe and 120V for the USA.

Cleaning To maximize the efficiency of the kettle, clean and descale regularly. 1. Switch off, unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely. 2. Remove the lid. 3. Descale with a proprietary descaler suitable for kettles and use in accordance with the instructions on the pack.
