INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Special safety instructions
Always check that the nut or bolt will be able
to sustain the speed and torque of the wrench
(300 Nm).
Always follow the car manufacturer's
recommendations for wheel-changing.
Never over tighten bolts or nuts.
Always check wheel nuts are correctly
tightened before using the car. A loose wheel
nut can have serious consequences.
USE
Raise the car using a jack (see car instruction
manual) and check it is secure.
Fit the appropriate socket (1) to the wrench
spindle (2).
Connect power cable (5) to car cigarette
lighter and switch on ignition.
The wrench can also be connected direct to
the car battery by connecting the plug to the
adapter (8). Open the car bonnet and attach
clamps (7) to battery: black clamp to minus
terminal or car chassis, red to plus terminal.
Apply the socket to the bolt or nut to be
tightened or loosened and start the wrench by
depressing the forward/reverse button (3):
Set button to position I (reverse) to slacken.
Set button to position I (forward) to tighten.
Set button to position 0, when finished.
ENGLISH
Avoid extended use as this can drain the
battery. If necessary, lower the car and run
engine to recharge.
If the wrench cannot tighten or slacken the
item, try lubricating it or removing rust. If
this does not help, use an alternative method
to tighten/loosen the item.
If the voltage is too high, the fuse in the
power cable will blow and the wrench cannot
be used. Disconnect from the cigarette lighter
(or battery) and replace the fuse with the
reserve (6). Check the power supply is normal
before using the wrench again.
NEVER use other types of fuse than those
supplied.
Check torque applied by the wrench using a
torque wrench.
Disconnect from the cigarette lighter or
battery immediately after use to avoid
draining the battery.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe using a well-wrung cloth after use, and
always keep the surface and ventilation holes free
of dirt.
Environmental information
You can help protect the environment!
Follow the applicable environmental
regulations: Dispose of unwanted
electrical equipment at an approved
