Functions and intended use Functions The FS Cradle should be used to activate new FS Readers that will be operated for the first time. Placing the FS Reader in the FS Cradle triggers the FS Reader: To awake from its ‘transport mode’.
• 2 plugs and 2 screws for mounting the FS Cradle to a wall. 4 rubber base sticky feet for positioning the FS Cradle on a flat surface. • Separate from the package, a power cord is delivered with the FS Cradle.
For mounting the FS Cradle to a wall: • Select a wall that is amply strong enough to hold the weight of the FS Cradle and that can withstand the repeated pressure of putting FS Readers into the charging positions of the FS Cradle.
The installer makes sure that the led on the FS Cradle is on. The installer places the FS Reader in each of the docks on the FS Cradle, to ensure that each of the docks can charge an FS Reader.
Priva B.V. Taking out of operation In order for the FS Cradle to be taken out of operation, the following steps need to be undertaken: The installer disconnects the power cord. In case the FS Cradle is mounted to the wall, it should be lifted from the mounting screws.
Connect the power cord to the FS Cradle and power socket. If the FS Cradle is in need of repair, the customer will contact Priva B.V. after which the product can be sent back to Priva B.V. for repair or possible replacement.
