Connect re l ay studs l and 2
box so that the current can be contro l l ed over a range of 0. 1 to 2.0 amperes.
Turn the time dia l to the ZERO T I M E D IAL position.

Increase the current s l ow l y until the seal -in unit picks up .

Move the time dial away from the ZERO T I M E D IAL position, the sea l -in unit shou l d remain in the
picked up position.
Decrease the current s l ow l y unti l the seal -in unit drops out.
The re l ay shoul d be insta l l ed in a c l ean, dry l ocation, free from dust, and wel l l ighted to facil itate
inspection and testing.
The rel ay shoul d be mounted on a vertica l surface.
