Attach the included zipper strip to the hardtop bolt holes
on the top edge of the tub. If the Jeep does not have a
hardtop but does have the factory captive nuts for the
hardtop under the tub rail, use 8mm x 1.25 x 20mm long
screws (not supplied) to attach the zipper strips. If the
Jeep does not have the factory captive nuts, 3/4"-long
5/16 screws and nuts or 20mm-long 8mm screws and nuts
(not supplied) can be used to attach the zipper strips.
Like your favorite pair of jeans, perfectly fitted fabric
products may be a bit tight when they're new and like
your jeans after a little use they'll stretch to that
perfectly comfy fit you love so much. The initial fit of
Saddlebag zipper strip is designed to be very tight for the
same reason. When installing the strip to the Jeep tub,
pull it tight to stretch it so the grommets line up with the
holes in the tub/hardtop. This is normal and will ensure a
good fit over time.

  • Page 2 HERPA ADDLE PACE ENDERS NSTRUCTIONS The SHERPA Saddle Bag is made from heavy cotton duck canvas fabric and leather and is designed to give years of service on the road and trail. Canvas is very easy to clean and handle - a soft and dry bristled brush can be used to remove any loose dust or dirt. If the canvas needs further cleaning, mix clean water and a small amount of mild detergent and use a damp towel or bristled brush dipped in the solution and scrub or rub the dirty areas gently. Lightly spray the canvas area with water to remove the soap residue and dry with a towel. To keep the SHERPA Saddle Bag looking new longer, we recommend treating the fabric with Scotchgard Auto Fabric & Carpet Protector. Scotchgard provides excellent resistance to water, oil and stains and it doesn't change the look and feel of the fabric, so the fabric stays soft and colors stay true. Scotchgard comes in an easy-to-use spray bottle. Note: Do not Dry-Clean, bleach or put in the dryer as these may potentially discolor the canvas or leather.
