Notice indicates information considered important, but not hazard-related 1.2 Intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse The MattressJack is intended for use as a device to raise a mattress over a stable and smooth-surfaced foundation. - Page 8 7. Choose one of the following options: i. Attach the hand controller ① to the air pump ②, or ii. Attach the magnet-activated reed switch ③ to the air pump ②. NOTICE Make sure to tighten the connector into the hub. NOTICE Make sure that the air pump is NOT connected to AC Power.
- Page 9 Attach and secure the air hose ① to the air pump ②. Place the air pump ① in the desired location. Make sure that the air inlet ② of the air pump is clear from obstructions. Carefully guide the air hose ③ to valve fitting of the air bladder at the head of the bed.
- Page 10 Attach and secure the air hose ① to the air bladder ②. The fit should be snug. Once fully inserted, gently tighten the screw collar with your fingers. Do not over-tighten. Do not use tools. Do not use tape or glue. Make sure the air bladder is symmetrically positioned in the center of the foundation. Route the air hose and all cords so that they are not subject to crushing, kinking, or pinching.

Make sure that there are no nearby objects, such as bedside tables, electric cords, lamps, light fixtures, or other bedside accessories that may potentially interfere with the mattress as it becomes elevated by the MattressJack.
- Page 12 3. How to use the MattressJack 3.1 Using the hand controller to lift your mattress • T o inflate the air bladder, press and release the green inflate button ① on the hand controller ④. The air pump will start to inflate the air bladder ⑤. The mattress will be lifted in approximately one minute.

The air pump will pause. • T o resume the deflation, move the magnet control fob ① away from the magnet- activated reed switch ②. Wait 2 seconds. 4. Maintenance NOTICE Clean the air filter media every 3 months. 1. Remove the power cord of the air pump from the AC wall socket. 2. Gently remove the air filter media ① from the air pump ② with your fingers. 3. Wash the air filter media with a mild soap solution and cool water. 4. - Page 15 CAUTION • Do not hold the MattressJack or any of its electric components underwater. • Do not use wipes that contain chemicals to clean the MattressJack.
