7. Choose one of the following options: i. Attach the hand controller ① to the air pump ②, or ii. Attach the magnet-activated reed switch ③ to the air pump ②. NOTICE Make sure to tighten the connector into the hub. NOTICE Make sure that the air pump is NOT connected to AC Power.

Attach and secure the air hose ① to the air pump ②. Place the air pump ① in the desired location. Make sure that the air inlet ② of the air pump is clear from obstructions. Carefully guide the air hose ③ to valve fitting of the air bladder at the head of the bed.

Attach and secure the air hose ① to the air bladder ②. The fit should be snug. Once fully inserted, gently tighten the screw collar with your fingers. Do not over-tighten. Do not use tools. Do not use tape or glue. Make sure the air bladder is symmetrically positioned in the center of the foundation. Route the air hose and all cords so that they are not subject to crushing, kinking, or pinching.

Put the power cord ① of the air pump into an AC wall power socket ②. Make sure that there are no nearby objects, such as bedside tables, electric cords, lamps, light fixtures, or other bedside accessories that may potentially interfere with the mattress as it becomes elevated by the MattressJack.

3. How to use the MattressJack 3.1 Using the hand controller to lift your mattress • T o inflate the air bladder, press and release the green inflate button ① on the hand controller ④. The air pump will start to inflate the air bladder ⑤. The mattress will be lifted in approximately one minute.
