4.2 Hydraulic connection In the basic configuration, two control devices and a pressure-free return flow are provided for the hydraulics. Hoses are appropriately marked. One cable provides the pressure supply for the control block (continuous pressure). The pressure-free return flow to the tank must always be ensured, otherwise control blocks may be damaged.
5. Maintenance Refer to the maintenance plan of the company Ostler (in the annex). In the winding spindle, bearings are fitted with 2 grease nipples. Moreover, the drive chain must be lubricated and re-tensioned once a year. The sprockets in the swivel head must be filled once a year with grease -access from below.

7. Sugar beets- calmp maintenance Arrangement of the clamp Beets should be provided in removable and uniform stacks (no hilly profiles). Place haystack on flat and passable surface with no furrows directly to the stack. Clamp maintenance right after digging but before cultivation or ploughing. For fleece attachment, it is best if the clamp is accessible with the tractor.

Excess fleece lengths must be tucked under the calmp. There should be no fleece in mud or puddles; in case of frost, it may tear when picked up. Drive around the clamp with the "Klünder-disc" at ca. 20 cm height. The disc should push the fleece at around 15 - 20cm into the haystack.

Stow away the wound fleece in the trailer. If the fleece is covered with lots of snow or a lot of beets are frozen, the fleece must be detached with a paddle (see picture). The fleece is then pulled from the stack and left lying until it is thawed.
