    Tube Holder Configuration The Q-sep multispeed centrifuge has been designed to work with 50, 15, and 2 mL centrifuge tubes using the appropriate acces- sories. The black tube holders with the larger top opening are designed to hold 50 mL round, conical, or flat bottom centrifuge tubes.

    3. If an odd number of samples is to be spun, use a water-filled tube to balance the unpaired one. Note: The Q-sep multispeed centrifuge is designed to detect serious, unbalanced situations and will safely terminate an unbalanced run by cutting the power to the motor. If this occurs, wait for the rotor to stop spinning before unlocking. Balance the load before restarting the centrifuge motor.
