This symbol indicates that parts of the fixture can reach very high temperatures (>85°Celsius). A cool down period is necessary before performing maintenance. With this symbol, Ceravision declares that this product complies with legal European requirements. This symbol indicates that any cracked protective shield must be replaced.

When the unit is switched-off and then on again, it will not attempt to automatically restrike until eight minutes have elapsed. Selecting Appropriate Glass Filter The UV420 is able to supply UV-A (315-400nm), UV-B (280-315nm) and visible light (400-800nm) radiation and is designed as a complementary lighting unit to be used alongside other light sources used for horticulture.

Working with UV Ceravision’s UV420 unit is an intense light source, which emits UV-A, UV-B and visible light. The unit should never be operated with the light source directly visible. The reflector housing and glass filter should always be correctly positioned and fitted in the unit at all times during its operation.
