REMEDIES FOR TROUBLESHOOTING
ATTENTION: Do not attempt to repair the unit. An incorrect intervention could cause electric shocks therefore, please
contact the local After Sales Service after removing the power supply.
To reduce cost and time, before the local After Sales Service, carry out the following controls.
PROBLEM
The unit does not cool or heat immediately after s
again.
The unit emits unpleasant odours
The unit whistles slightly
In Cooling mode, the unit emits little mist.
The unit emits clicking noises
The unit does not work.
The unit does not cool or heat the room efficiently.
The remote control does not work.

When the unit has been s witched off, it cannot be s witched on

again for 3 minutes.
Unpleasant smells are not caused b y the air conditioner but b y
impurities available in the room and held in the filters: clean the
filters. If the odour persists, contact the local After Sales Service
for the cleaning of the heat exchanger.
The whistle is due to the flow of refrigerant in the air conditioner
and not as a result of malfunction.
This is possible in cases of high temper atures and high humidity
levels in the room. This problem disappears as the unit operates.
Low clocking noises are normal at s witch on and switch off of the
unit due to swelling or shrinkage of plastic materials as a result of
the changes in temperature.
- Make sure the main switch is closed
- Check the protection device (magneto thermic/fuse).
- Allow qualified staff to control the correct voltage supply.
- Make sure that programmed switch on is not set..
- Make sure the temperature set on the remote control is correct
- Make sure the air intake and/or air disc harge of the indoor and
outdoor units are not obstructed.
- Make sure the filters are clean.
- Make sure doors and windows are clean.
- Make sure there are no other heat sour
room.
- Check the batteries and if necessary, replace them
- make sure the batteries ha ve been inserted correctly respecting
the poles.
- Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and
the indoor unit receiver.
