Chariot Carriers X-Country Manual

Congratulations on purchasing the Chariot X-Country Cargo Rack – a convenient supplemental
storage area to help carry your gear.
A. Rack Installation
Your Cargo Rack is shipped pre-assembled. Attaching the Cargo Rack only takes a few
moments.
1. Remove the safety flag and handlebars from your carrier.
2. Standing at the rear of the carrier, place both black Cargo Rack brackets over the rear
aluminum tube extensions as shown in Figure 1. Ensure that the quick releases on the
brackets are in the released position.
3. Slide the Cargo Rack brackets down over these extensions until the push button access hole
in the bracket is aligned with the hole in the aluminum tube as shown in Figure 2.
4. Close the quick release levers, located on the outer side of the Cargo Rack brackets. Twist
the lever so that it point towards the front of the carrier and towards the ground as shown in
Figure 3.
5. Replace the safety flag.
6. Replace the handlebars, ensuring that they are properly installed with both handlebar spring
buttons "popping" out of the holes located on the inner side of the Cargo Rack brackets as
shown in Figure 4.
