SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read these safety instructions carefully before
using your appliance and keep safe for future
reference.
• This appliance is designed to be used for
domestic and similar purposes such as:
– kitchens used by employees in shops, offices
and other
– professional environments;
– farms;
– use by guests in hotels, motels and other
residential environments;
– bed and breakfast type accommodation.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not
carried out children unless they are supervised.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near

baths, showers, sinks or other containers of
water.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their after-sales
service or a similarly qualified person to avoid
any hazards.
• For added protection, it is recommended to
install a residual current device (RCD), with
an allocated differential operating current
of less than 30 mA, in the electrical circuit
that powers the bathroom. Ask your fitter for
advice.
• When the hair-drier is used in a bathroom,
unplug it after use because its proximity to
water may be hazardous even when switched
off.
WARNING: Do not use this
appliance near water.
