  • Page 2 The following instructions are for the removal of the feed assembly on the 912 checksigner. Please note that only a qualified field technician should perform this procedure and damage to the machine may result if done improperly. If there are a ny concerns on whether the following procedure should be performed, please contact the technical service department at Martin Yale Industries, Inc.
  • Page 3 Remove both side covers and bezel Bezel assembly is the hood, back assembly before removing feed drive. and bottom of the machine in one Loosen the setscrew in both the signature plate drum and the platen. Slide both components to one side of the unit. This will allow access from behind to the connection cable for the paper sensor.
  • Page 4 Once connection is dislodged, the two Allen screws in the left and right side of the feed assembly can be removed (see photo). NOTE: The right side of the feed assembly has washers and spacers. These should be reinstalled on the proper side during reassembly. The screws on the right side of the unit are also shorter than the screws on the left side, and may be difficult to find inside their mounting hole.
