The cooking times in the enclosed recipes are only guide-lines. The times are affected by the quality of
the meat, the freshness of the vegetables, etc., and differ per dish.
Fish and shellfish are very suitable for steaming. Top up the water in the wok regularly.
CLEANING
FIRST REMOVE THE PLUGS FROM THE WALL OUTLETS AND THE WOK
Clean the pan every time you use it. This avoids food particles burning on. Let the PRINCESS WONDER
WOK cool down first. Never pour water into the hot pan. This would damage the appliance and the hot
water might spit. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning liquids or scouring pads.
Food particles that are difficult to remove can first be soaked loose in cooking oil (leave to soak for 5 minutes).
Or cover the bottom of the pan with water and bring it to the boil; this will loosen stubborn scraps.
The pan and lid can be cleaned in hot suds. Always keep the electrical cord and the temperature control
dry! The pan is dishwasher-proof.
When the pan is clean, you are advised to dry the electrical connection (where the electric cord goes in)
thoroughly with kitchen paper, before the appliance is plugged in again.
After cleaning spread a thin layer of cooking oil over the non-stick surface.
PRINCESS TIPS
- This pan is only for domestic use.
- Make sure that the electric cord, or any extension you use, is placed where nobody can trip over it, and
where it cannot touch the hot pan.
- If the pan or the electric cord is damaged then we advise you to stop using it. Take it back to the shop
to be repaired. A damaged electric cord can only be replaced complete with the plugs.
- Always keep an eye on the pan when children are about. It gets very hot. And be careful yourself of
course. Let the appliance cool down before moving it or putting it away.
- Only connect the appliance to a grounded electrical outlet.
- We advise you not to use it out of doors.
- Never use the pan on a cooking ring or range or in the oven.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motor disability, or
lack of experience and knowledge can cause hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give
explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
Treat your PRINCESS WONDER WOK carefully and it will soon be your favourite cooking implement!
