The device contains rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries.
Used batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) should not be disposed of in
domestic waste.
The batteries must be removed before the product is disposed of.
Use a screwdriver or similar object to remove the three screws from the housing.
Cut through the battery wires (red/black) with a pair of scissors or similar item.
Now remove the batteries, including the plate.
These can be returned to a collection point for old batteries or special refuse. Contact
your local authority for further information.
