  • Page 4 STEPUP MC Transformer Operation The StepUp installs between your MC cartridge and your MM phonostage. Be sure to connect turntable ground! GAIN is in three steps, low, medium, and high. Transformer loading is preset for optimized transient response at each GAIN setting. This is with LOADING set to maximum (large dot).
