Allgemeine Hinweise und Sicherheit Allgemeine Hinweise und Sicherheit Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch Die JBOD Erweiterungseinheit arbeitet als Direct Attached Storage Sys- tem (DAS) und kann in Verbindung mit bestimmten Video-Sicherheitslö- sungen von GEUTEBRÜCK betrieben werden. Der Anschluss erfolgt über das im Lieferumfang befindliche SAS-Verbin- dungskabel, welches mit dem eingebauten SAS-RAID-Controller eines G-Scope Videomanagement-Systems verbunden wird. -

Dies sollte jedoch nur beim Ausfall ei- ner Festplatte erfolgen. Wenn kein Festplattenfehler aufgetreten ist, sollten Sie Festplatten nicht im laufenden Betrieb entnehmen, da es beim Entnehmen fehler- frei arbeitender Festplatten zu Datenverlust kommen kann. -

Kaskadierung von G-Storage Kaskadierung von G-Storage Es besteht die Möglichkeit, max. 4 G-Storage am G-Scope per Kaskadierung zu betreiben. Die Firmware-Version des im G-Scope verwendeten RAID-Controllers ARC-1883 muss mindestens Version V1.54 2016-11-23 oder höher sein. Öffnen Sie im Webbrowser die Systemsteuerung des RAID-Controllers. - Page 13 Kaskadierung von G-Storage Öffnen Sie im Webbrowser die Systemsteuerung des RAID-Controllers. Unter „System Controls -> Upgrade Firmware“ können Sie nun das Firmware Update durchführen. Spielen Sie die 4 Dateien in dieser Reihenfolge auf: 1. ARC1883BIOS.BIN 2. ARC1883BOOT.BIN 3. ARC1883FIRM-JB.BIN 4. ARC1883MBR0.BIN Vergessen Sie bitte nicht, das Häkchen bei „Confirm The Operation“...

Wählen Sie diese Einstellung („Patched SES2“), setzen Sie das Häkchen bei „Confirm The Operation“ und klicken Sie auf „Submit“. Nach dem abschließenden Reboot mit dieser Einstellung ist der RAID- Controller in der Lage, alle kaskadierten JBODs anzusteuern.

Cascading of G-Storage Cascading of G-Storage By cascading it is possible to operate max. 4 G-Storage at a G-Scope. The firmware version of the RAID-Controller ARC-1883, which is used in the G-Scope, must be at least V1.54 2016-11-23 or higher. - Page 27 Cascading of G-Storage Start a webbrowser and open the control panel of the RAID controller.
