- Page 6 OPERATION AND USE 1. Place the fan on the floor in the desired location. 2. Ensure that the fan’s Power is Off. 3. Plug the fan into a 120V AC outlet. This fan has a polarized plug ((one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
- Page 7 CHANGING THE BATTERY 1. Remove the battery door on the back of the remote. 2. Confirm battery polarity and insert battery into the battery door. 3. Insert battery door into remote. MAINTENANCE CAUTION: Always be sure that the fan is switched OFF and unplugged. Do not immerse fan in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the fan, as this could create an electric shock hazard.
