Inspection instructions

Perform inspections regularly. Inspections must be
performed by a competent person who is suitably
trained, qualified through knowledge and practical
experience, and who has the instructions necessary
to perform the required tests and examinations. Look
for:
» Bent, nicked, worn or elongated components
» Severe corrosion
» Scouring and cracks
» Make sure that the all functions are fully operable.
» If any components show faults from the above
inspection, it must immediately be removed from
service.

Important advice for safe use

» Care shall be taken at all times to ensure that
hook with WRIN Handle attached is kept clear
of all objects that may cause damage to hook and/
or WRIN Handle.
» Hooks with WRIN Handles attached should be
checked for damage on a regular basis. Replace
immediately any hook and/or WRIN Handle
damaged in any way.
Specific WRIN STR Handle

» WRIN Handles are designed to facilitate safe and
easy operation of the release trigger on safety hooks.
» External loading shall NOT be applied to WRIN
Handles via Tag Lines or by any other method.
