You can delete each individual database, i.e. all records, under CONTACT, SCHEDULE, MEMO, PAINT,
E-MAIL and OWNER by tapping DELETE. Then tap the application whose database you want to delete.
The PDA will ask you if you want to delete all records in that database. Tap YES to confirm or NO to
abort. If you tap YES, the PDA will ask you again whether you really want to delete all records. Again, tap
YES to confirm or NO to abort.

] PC SYNC
PC Sync enables you to synchronize your PDA with your computer through a COM port. All changes
made on your PDA or on your computer - that is all new, modified or deleted records - will be updated on
both platforms after synchronization.
There are two PC Sync software programs available for the PDA298 - Easy-Sync and PumaTech
Intellisync. However, you should only use one of them.
To conduct synchronization with your PDA, first install either of the two programs on your computer from
the enclosed CD-ROM. Please refer to the section Quick start guide for PC software installation.

Easy-Sync
Applications synchronized using Easy-Sync:
CONTACT, SCHEDULE, MEMO, PAINT, OWNER.
Connect your PDA to your computer using the PC Link cable provided. The small plug goes into the jack
of the PDA, while the DB-9 connector can be connected in the appropriate COM port on your computer.
Launch the Easy-Sync program on your PC. Click the Setup icon or use the pull-down Setup menu and
select the COM port that the PDA is connected to. Also set the action that you want to use for synchroniz-
ing your records (Keep PDA records, Keep PC records or Keep both records).
On the PDA, tap PC SYNC and then START to start PC Synchronization. The progress of the
synchronization is displayed on your PC screen.
To abort synchronization, press ESC key on the keyboard.
If a Secret Record Lock has been set on the PDA, you will be asked to enter the password before you can
start synchronization.
PumaTech Intellisync
Applications synchronized using Intellisync:
CONTACT, SCHEDULE, MEMO, EMAIL.
Connect your PDA to your computer as described as above.
Launch the Intellisync program on you PC.
On the PDA, tap PC SYNC and then START to start PC Synchronization.
On the Intellisync, click on the SYNCHRONIZE button. The progress of the synchronization is displayed
on your PC screen.
To abort synchronization, press ESC key on the keyboard.

Use this application to download applications from your PC.
First install the Application Downloader programs on your computer from the enclosed CD-ROM. Please
refer to the section Quick start guide for PC software installation below.
Then connect your PDA to your computer as described under PC Sync.
Then follow these procedures to add applications from your PC.
1. On your PDA, tap the download [
