    KEYBOARD AND DISPLAY MAIN FEATURES Functions of keys A~C : In case of inserting Key-Card Use these keys for setting modes. In case of pressing for 3 seconds without inserting Key-Card Use these keys for registering the time card or exporting time data to the memory card. D~I: Use these keys for changing data after inserting the Key-Card.

    Do not install on or near a place subject to vibration. REGISTRATION OF TIME CARD Before using ER-2200PC, you have to register the time cards for every period. The Card Number and the Period are printed on the registered time cards.

    EXPORTING TIME DATA ER-2200PC can export the time data to the memory card (Compact flash card). ( → See You can calculate this data on your PC. on page 18) Insert the memory card (Compact flash card) into the Card Slot.

    SETTING MACHINE NUMBER, MACHINE MODE NUMBER AND PAY CLOSING DATE (MODE 1) Operation Insert the “Key-Card”. The symbol appears on the display to indicate the setting mode is on. Press the “MODE 1” key. The symbol appears at “MODE 1” on the display. Press the key to set or change each item.
  • Page 12 Setting Pay Closing Date After setting “Machine Mode Number”, “Pay Closing Date” is shown on the display. Monthly Press the key to select the Pay Closing Date. When the display shows the desired closing date, press the SET key. From Weekly Press the key to select the Pay Closing Date (from today to the next 6 days).

  • Page 16 Setting Daylight Saving Time After setting “Starting time of Overtime work”, the display moves to ”Starting Date of Daylight Saving Time”. NOTE : When setting the last week of the month, set “L” for the last week even if the last week is the 4th week.

    REGISTERING TIME CARDS Registering time cards is required before you use them with ER-2200PC. You can register 50 time cards for the current period and/or the next period. The card number and the period are printed on the registered time cards.

    While [CArd] is displayed, the time recorder cannot be operated. CAUTION • Use the memory card only for ER-2200PC. Storing other data in the memory card may cause damage to the data. • Do not remove the memory card, while exporting time data to it. Re- moval could cause damage to the data in the memory card.
  • Page 20: Replacing The Ink Ribbon Cassette

    REPLACING THE INK RIBBON CASSETTE Use only ER-IR101 ink ribbon cassettes. Replace the ink ribbon cassette every 8 to 12 months as follows. WARNING Never touch the printer head. It is very hot just after printing and you could get burned. Disconnect the power cord from the plug socket.

    Do not use other materials. Disconnect the power cord before installing on wall. Wall Mounting If hanging ER-2200PC on a wall, use the following procedure. Remove screw (A) and the attached mounting plate as illustrated. Fix the mounting plate to the wall with the in- cluded 4 screws (accessories).
