  • Page 4 Assembly CAUTION Bushing Insert (10) Only use hand tools for assembly. Power tools could damage the components. Base Assembly 1. Slide the bushing insert (10) into the base assembly (11). (11) If necessary, tap the bushing insert with a plastic or wood mallet to ensure it is seated tightly in the base assembly.

  • Page 7 Operation Use the shield with care. 1. The slider assembly can move up and down to adjust the overall height. 2. The shield can rotate 360° around the slider assembly to adjust the direction. Note: The tension for the shield angle can be tightened by adjusting the nut on the elevator bolt. 3.
  • Page 8 Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning 1. Clean metal surfaces with a mild, non-abrasive soap with warm water and a clean, soft cotton cloth. Never use an abrasive or harsh cleaning agent or a chemical cleaning agent. 2. For proper cleaning and care of your polycarbonate, a mild solution of water and dish detergent applied with a soft cloth is recommended.
