    TG-140 1 DESCRIPCIÓN El TG-140 es un equipo electrónico para rack de 19” de dos unidades. El TG-140 reproduce, graba y procesa los archivos de tramas de transporte. Una Trama de Transporte es una secuencia de bytes que contienen audio, video y datos. El TG-140 incorpora un software para reproducir, grabar, analizar, demultiplexar y construir tramas de transporte.

La Compact flash se utilizan para la grabación de Transport Streams que deben ser reproducidas repetidamente y con esto reducimos al mínimo el riesgo de errores en el disco.

    Stream. Las carpetas elementary_streams, sólo se usan para guardarElementary Stream que podrán ser usadas para construir ficheros Transport Stream. Una vez que el TG-140 está reproduciendo un fichero, podemos girar el selector para ver alguna información del archivo que se está reproduciendo, se puede observar el nombre del fichero, Bitrate que es la velocidad binaria con la cual ha sido construida la Transport Stream y es la misma que se usa para reproducir el fichero.

    Cuando el reproductor alcanza el final del fichero, comienza de nuevo por el principio y así sucesivamente. El TG-140 tiene el Loop File seleccionado en Yes por defecto. Cuando este modo está activado tenemos la posibilidad de efectuar algunas correcciones en la Transport Stream para tener menos discontinuidades entre el final y el principio de la trama.

    Si necesita copiar ficheros en la Compact Flash puede hacerlo remotamente mediante la red. El TG-140 debe tener una dirección IP válida. Abra “Internet Explorer” y escriba en la barra de direcciones la dirección IP del TG-140 con dos contrabarras al principio, por ejemplo “ \\192.9.1.100.93 “, pulse enter.

    Bajo Control local no se podrá acceder desde el Control Remoto y viceversa. Para hacerse con el control del TG-140 debe hacerlo desde el panel frontal o con la interfaz gráfica de software. El control puede ser adquirido como se explica en las siguientes líneas.

    El TG-140 debe tener una IP válida para acceder a Internet. El usuario debe conocer la dirección IP del TG-140 y del servidor PROMAX. El operario usará su ordenador para conectar el TG-140 y fijar la dirección IP con la cual debe comunicarse con el servidor de actualizaciones de PROMAX.

    Con el TG-140 apagado, extraiga la tarjeta Compact Flash si es necesario del slot en el panel trasero del TG-140 e inserte la Compact Flash de Recuperación. Conecte una pantalla, un ratón y un telado. Encienda el TG-140 y pulse Del/Supr para acceder a la configuración de la BIOS.

    El reproductor de Transport Stream es probablemente la aplicación más importante del TG-140. Con este soft puede seleccionar un fichero y reproducirlo. Para esto acceda a File/Open y busque el fichero a reproducir y pulse Play ( botón con un triángulo dibujado).
  • Page 30 MANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONES. TG-140 El modo Burst puede estar activo o desactivado y sólo se aplica a la salida ASI. En este modo el fichero Transport Stream es transmitido en paquetes los cuales son del mismo tamaño que la Transport Stream, el tamaño es 188 bytes. En modo Burst no hay bits de relleno (Stuffing) entre los bytes de un paquete.

Pulsando File/Save as y asignándole el nombre con el que queremos salvar. Si la alarma Buffer está en rojo nos advierte que los datos se están perdiendo debido a que la velocidad de entrada es demasiada alta.

Abra un fichero y pulse Analyze, después de unos segundos pulsa Stop, ya que no es necesario analizar todo el fichero para leer las tablas.     ASI input. The same data are sent to both outputs at the same time. The ASI uses a BNC type connector while the SPI uses a DB25. The TG-140 includes a Data Compact Flash and four USB ports to transfer files using the USB storage devices. The Data Compact Flash is meant to store Transport Stream files that have to be played repeatedly and one want to reduce to the minimum the risk of a disk crash.
  • Page 40 The TG-140 includes a Rescue Compact Flash. Hard disks are fragile and might fail due to, for instance, an unwanted fall or shock. The user of the TG-140 can replace the Hard Disk by an equivalent one. Partitioning, creating file systems and installing the all the TG-140 software in the new hard disk is only four keystrokes away by using the Rescue Compact Flash.

    Stream Files are stored by using the Knob. When you press the Knob on a Transport Stream file the TG-140 starts playing it. When you press the Knob on a directory name it goes into that directory. Directory or folder names are marked with the word "Dir:". To get out of a directory you have to press the Knob on "..".

    Player reaches the end of the file it starts reading it from the beginning again and so on. The TG-140 has Loop File setting to Yes by default. When Loop file is Yes you might want to perform some corrections to the Transport Stream File so that that are less discontinuities between the end and the beginning of the file.

    Introduce the IP of the TG-140 and press OK. You have to have configured the TG-140 in advance with an IP of your choice. To configure the IP of the TG-140 go to IP CONFIG in the LCD screen of the TG-140.

    USER’S MANUAL. TG-140 10 USING THE SOFTWARE The TG-140 comes with a number of programs to play, record, analyze and build Transport Streams. This section of the documentation explains what are the capabilities of these programs and how can they be used.

In Burst Mode the Transport Stream file is streamed out in a packetized way where a packet is the same size as a Transport Stream file: that is 188 bytes. In this mode there is no stuffing between bytes of a packet.

    USER’S MANUAL. TG-140 10.2 TS Recorder The TS Recorder can record an input Transport Stream to a file in the hard disk. Click on File/Save as and select the name of the file you want to save. If the Hardware Alarm Buffer is red it means that data are being lost because the input rate is to high.
