INSTALLATION

Mounting Brackets must be installed into solid structure (wood beams, studs, concrete, and/
or roof rafters), sufficient to support the weight and anticipated wind load. (Note: it is highly
recommended that the awning be retracted in moderate to strong wind conditions to prevent
damage). Locate stud, beam or rafter and confirm that the structure is solid.
The awning can be either wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted.
The instructions provided below are for wall mounting. If the
procedure is different for ceiling installation, explanations will be
provided as needed. This procedure must be performed by at
least two workers.

operation from your awning. This installation manual will outline the steps
required to install your awning. It is important that the awning is installed
properly to ensure worry free operation. Improper installation may cause
damage or failure not covered by your warranty.

Please be sure to be cautious in removing packaging materials. The fabric
is just below the packaging material and can easily be damaged.
Never use a knife to remove packaging.

Turn crank to extend the awning. Do not crank past the point of full extension, as fabric will slacken. Fabric must be retracted on the top of the roller tube, not the bottom.
