Before First Use
Though your PowerPillar 6000 comes from the factory charged for
immediate use, we recommend you fully charge it before using for the
first time.
Charging Your PowerNow! 6000
The PowerPillar 6000 features a Micro USB charging input port and
includes a USB to Micro USB charging cable. To charge your PowerPillar
6000, please see below for charging options. For maximum
convenience, we recommend using the PowerPillar Charging Station
(sold separately):
To Charge Your PowerPillar with the Charging Station
(sold separately):
NOTE: Your PowerPillar is designed to stack with additional units so
you'll never be without a ready recharge when you're on the go. Just
stack additional units on top of each other; their innovative magnetic
locking system ensures secure stacking.
1. With the Charging Station (sold separately) plugged into your wall
outlet, place your PowerPillar on the Charging Station. The four blue
LED lights on the PowerPillar will begin blinking, indicating that the
unit is charging.
2. When all four LED lights stop blinking and remain lit, your
PowerPillar is fully charged.
To Charge Your PowerPillar with Your PC or Wall Adapter
(not included):
1. Plug the included USB to Micro USB cable into the
Micro USB port on your PowerPillar 6000 and the other
end into your PC's USB port (note: your PC must be
turned on). You may also charge via a wall outlet using
a USB wall adapter with your charging cable (wall
adapter not included).
Device Will Not Charge
• Make sure that your device's cable is securely connected to the
PowerPillar 6000.
• Make sure that your PowerPillar 6000 is charged.
• Verify that your device's charging cable is working. You may need to
try a different charging cable.
Caution
Store your PowerPillar 6000 in a cool, dry place. Avoid water and
corrosive chemicals. Do not violently shake or strike. Do not drop. Do
not disassemble, the PowerPillar 6000 contains no user-serviceable
parts.
How to Properly Dispose of Batteries
This product contains a lithium-ion battery. To properly dispose of
expired batteries, view your city's website or newsletter to find what
guidelines, if any, should be followed and to make note of their
designated hazardous waste collection days.
