    1. INTRODUCTION This document concerns a device designed to taking photos and their processing. The device is a compact photo studio which works with connected digital camera and PC. You can control the positioning of the object, interior lighting, camera settings, take and edit photos (or video films) by using an application which is attached to the device.

    3. CALIBRATION Note: If you notice that the platform does not do a full rotation of 360° or presentations are not smooth, calibrate the product. Step 1. Turn on the Photo Composer and then run the ModeVid/ModePix application. Step 2. In the ModePiX/ModeViD select the calibration mode and follow the instructions "Manual MODEViD section 1.7."...
  • Page 9 Step 3. Place the magnet device in a place where the red LED lights up. Then press the application key "Next" Step 4. Calibration program starts running, the LED glows yellow.
  • Page 10 Step 5. The green LED indicates the end of calibration. After completed calibration, turn off the device with the power and restart the application ModePiX/ModeViD If the device does not stop after one rotation, correct setting of magnet and run the program again.

    4. CENTERING Step 1. Set the camera in the 90° position. Step 2. Place the plate for centering (1) in the middle of the device in such a way that it touches guide rollers (2). Remember that the field to centering (3) has to be in the middle of the plate.
  • Page 12 Step 3. Using the knob (1) set the virtual viewfinder of camera. It has to hit in the middle of the plate for centering. Follow the instruction: "Manual MODEViD Chapter 1.5".
  • Page 13 Step 4. Look at the preview LiveView and synchronize viewfinder with the middle of the platform (B). Synchronization – adjust knob of attaching the camera (2) and knob of angle of setting camera (1).

    5. BACKGROUND ASSEMBLY Step 1. Roll the background and put into the Photo Composer. Step 2. Place the background in background guides (1).

    6. PLATE ASSEMBLY Step 1. Set the plate at an angle and insert into the Photo Composer. Step 2. First, place the plate near the pressure roller (1) (press lightly) and next between guide rollers (2).

    8. SCALE ON MOVEABLE GUIDE 1. On the moveable guide of camera are two arrows. Left indicates at what angle the camera is set on the arc, the right indicates the approximate steps of spherical presentation. To move the camera should release the lock arc (A).
  • Page 20 3. The right scale on the arc with the scale 1-6 (steps spherical) is the overall assistance to the spherical presentation. The presentation does not have to start from level 1, you can choose the steps or use the left scale.

    9. REPLACEMENT BACKGROUND Standard background of Photo Composer device on the one side is mat, on the second side with a slight shiny mirror image. 2D photos – we can remove the platform (the plate) from the device and photograph second surface.

    12. DISASSEMBLY OF CAMERA HOLDER To montage the camera holder, insert the handle between the frame (A) of the arc (B). To remove the camera holder, unscrew the two screws securing the holder with a frame to the camera (A) and (B).

    14. NOISE The noise which is emitted during machine operation is comparable to computer operation. Another source of noise is the sound of the snapshot of connected camera. The noise level is not a threat and is not burdensome for the machine operator and other people who work in the same room.

    16. EXPLOITATION AND CONSERVATION Operator’s workplace The device should be operated in a typical office workstation (desk, chair). It provides the proper position during operation. The device is operated in a room with lighting which is normal for office work. Furthermore, the device has its own lighting of the place of object exposure.

    18. WARRANTY For this product manufacturer provides a 36 month warranty. Keep the original and complete packaging. If the device to repair has the non-original or incomplete packaging, the risk of damage in transport is on the purchaser side. Repackaging should be as adjusted for volume goods (device).
