Work area safety Keep work area clean and well lit.

Heaters are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Maintain heaters and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the heater’s operation.

    8. PREPARING THE SPACE HEATER Note: On first use the heater will emit a small amount of odour. This will disappear quickly after initial use. These heaters are designed for small enclosed spaces like small offices, home garages etc. Always position the fan so that it stands upright on a firm non-flammable surface and at a safe distance from flammable objects and away from any potentially wet or damp environments.

    MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING 9.1 MAINTENANCE Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the necessity for maintenance operations and will keep your heater in good working condition. The motor must be correctly ventilated during the heater’s operation. For this reason avoid blocking the air inlets. If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
