    Each ZE 2200 offers the possibility to either share the main unit music programme or insert a local source. All ZM 2124 / ZM 2100 main units and ZE 2200 expanders are based on a dual bus architecture, where the first bus is mainly dedicated for selective / all-call paging, while the second bus is for music distribution (or other signals).

    The music is kept in zones that are not selected for paging. The ZM 2100 central unit and all the eight ZE 2200 expanders are wired for ‘0 dB commutation’, so all the 54 zones can have a dedicated amplifier (or more).

    Every ZE 2200 expander allows to use an external amplifier (or more) per each of the 6 zones. All ZE 2200 internal relays are (in this case) used to switch 0 dB audio signals (instead of 100 V lines). The ZM 2124 / ZM 2100 central unit needs to be set to the dual amplifier mode through its respective dip-switch.

    Ogni unità d'espansione ZE 2200 permette di utilizzare uno o più amplificatori esterni per ciascuna delle 6 zone. Tutti i relè interni dell'unità ZE 2200 sono (in questo caso) usati per commutare segnali audio ad alto livello (0 dB) invece di linee 100 V (in uscita da amplificatori).
