CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES ADDITIONNELLES
1. Pour éviter la surcharge des circuits,
évitez de brancher un autre appareil dans
la même prise murale (circuit) que cet
appareil.
2. Si une rallonge électrique est nécessaire,
il est absolument requis qu'elle soit de 15
ampères et de calibre 14. Les rallonges
de calibre inférieur pourraient surchauffer.
Disposez la rallonge de façon à ce que
personne ne puisse la tirer ou y trébucher.
3. Évitez de laisser l'appareil sans
surveillance lorsqu'il est branché.
Attention:
lors du premier usage, la vapeur sera mêlée à de l'eau
si chaude qu'elle pourrait ébouillanter. Assurez-vous que la brosse
repose sur le plancher ou que le bec est dirigé loin de vous lors de
la première mise en marche du commutateur à vapeur. Ne dirigez
jamais le bec ou la brosse vers vous ou vers quiconque.
Information importante
Veuillez noter que ce nettoyeur à vapeur est muni d'une chaudière à « injection
par transfert » et qu'il ne s'agit pas d'un système sous pression. L'injecteur de
vapeur nécessitera de 45 à 90 secondes pour se réchauffer et pour que le voyant «
vapeur prête » s'éteigne. Une fois le voyant éteint, appuyez sur le commutateur à
vapeur sur la poignée pour le mettre en position de marche (« On ») (I) afin de faire
démarrer le jet de vapeur. La puissance de la vapeur augmentera uniformément
pendant les quatre (4) premières minutes d'usage, après quoi le débit se
stabilisera. De la vapeur formera une condensation autour de la brosse à
planchers pendant l'usage et causera que les surfaces dures deviennent humides
pendant l'usage. Ceci est normal.
Avertissement:
cet appareil est muni d'un cordon mis à la
terre à trois broches (fiche à trois broches). La fiche ne pourra
s'insérer que dans une prise conçue pour les fiches à trois broches.
Il s'agit là d'une caractéristique de sécurité. Si la fiche manque de
s'insérer correctement dans la prise, adressez-vous à un électricien
qui pourra remplacer la prise. Ne tentez pas de déjouer la mesure de
sécurité de la broche de mise à la terre faisant partie de la fiche à
trois broches.

USAGE SUGGESTIONS FOR OMEGA STEAM BLASTER
Important User Information
Please note that this steam cleaner has a "flow through injection" type boiler
and is not a pressurized system. It will take approximately 45-90 seconds for
the steam injector to heat up and the "steam ready light" to go off. Once the
steam ready light has gone off, push the steam switch on the handgrip to the
"On" position (I) in order to start the steam flow. Steam power will steadily
increase during the first four (4) minutes of use, after which time steam output
will stabilize. Some steam will condense around the floor brush when in use
and will cause hard surfaces to become wet during the cleaning process, this
is normal.
Tips On How To Use Your
System
Water
•
Use tap water for all your cleaning
needs, however, if you live in an area
with hard water, use
demineralized/distilled water.
Important:
Do NOT add cleaning
solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any
other chemicals to the water used in
this appliance. Use tap water or
distilled/purified water if the tap
water in your area is very hard.
Temperature
• The vapor temperature at the tip of
the nozzle is between 220°F and 240°F.
• The temperature of the vapor falls to
100 °F at a distance of 10 inches from
the nozzle.

CAUTION
A towel wrapped around the
brush can become hot enough to burn.
Make sure that you let the towel cool off
before touching it or changing it.
Using Towels
:
Note
We strongly recommend the
use of two (2) 100 % cotton towels
layered one on top of the other.
• For best results use 100% cotton white
terry cloth towels.
• Use correct size (8" x 17") of towel to
allow you to wrap the towel over the
ends of the brush and clip it under the
spring loaded towel clips.
• The purpose of using towels is to
absorb the moisture and dirt being
removed. Always use dry towels. A
wet towel will smear the dirt.
• Wash towels with strong detergent
and bleach.
• Using scented fabric softener while
washing the towels will cause the
scent to be released into the air when
using the towels with your steam
system.
Wood, Vinyl and Marble Floors
Use the floor brush with a 100% cotton
terry cloth attached, ( see page 7 for
details). Move the brush slowly in back
and forth motions. When the towel is
soiled, you can turn the towel over or
replace it with a clean towel. If you are
working on a very dirty area, we
recommend that you move the brush
over the area slowly, several times. If it
is a wood floor, do NOT leave the unit
stationary for any length of time to avoid
heat or moisture build-up in the wood.
By cleaning with the towel over the
brush, you will not affect the shine on the
floor.
To Clean Waxed Floors: Install a clean
towel(s) on the floor brush, work quickly.
The towel will absorb the dirt but not
remove the wax.
Vinyl Floors: Do not allow heat to buildup
in any kind of vinyl, since it can soften it
enough to affect its texture. Work quickly
on vinyl. Use two (2) towels on floor brush.
Tile Floors: For tile and marble floors only,
if there is an area of the floor which is
excessively dirty, you may remove the
towels and agitate the area with the brush
bristles directly. Do not let the area dry.
Wipe immediately with a clean cloth. Re-
clean with brush and towels in place.
Note: Do not use steam cleaner on
hardwood or vinyl floor without towels
installed on the floor brush.
