Allgemeines Gerätebeschreibung Die AGZ 3 ist eine schnell wirkende Ionisierpistole zur Neutralisierung aufgeladener Objekte und zur Entfernung von Staub und Partikeln welche durch elektrostatische Aufladung an einem Objekt haften. Mit dem eingebauten Hochspannungsgenerator wird Hochspannung an die Emitterspitze (Ionisierspitze) angelegt. -

1‘000V auf 100V benötigt wird (siehe IEC 61340-5-1). Reinigung und Unterhalt Reinigung der AGZ 3 5.1.1 Kommt die Ionisierpistole mit Wasser in Berührung, muss sie sofort ausser Betrieb gesetzt und vollständig getrocknet werden. Wird sie z.B. ölhaltiger Luft ausgesetzt, muss sie, von einer von SSD autorisierten Servicestelle, vollständigen überholt werden. - Page 7 Reinigen der Emitterspitze 5.2.1 Die Emitterspitze (6d) ist einem ständigen, hohen Wechselspannungsfeld ausgesetzt und unterliegt daher einer Abnützung. Sie sollte periodisch gereinigt und gegebenenfalls auch ausgewechselt werden (nach ca. 10‘000 Arbeitsstunden). Ohne ausreichende Wartung verkürzt sich die Lebensdauer merklich. 5.2.2 Verunreinigungen auf der Emitterspitze (6d) vermindern die Leistung des Geräts. Zur Reinigung muss die Düse (6) vollständig herausgeschraubt werden.

Alle bei STATECH SYSTEMS AG STS erworbenen Geräte können zur Kalibrierung an STS eingesandt werden. Auf Wunsch erinnert Sie STS wenn das Gerät wieder zur Kalibrierung fällig ist. Reparaturen dürfen nur von autorisierten SSD – Vertragspartnern (Europa: STATECH SYSTEMS AG) durchgeführt werden. -

Nützliches Zubehör Reglerventil Dieses kleine Reglerventil wird direkt am Lufteingang der Pistole montiert. Damit kann der gewünschte Luftdruck stufenlos zwischen 0 - 6bar eingestellt werden. Art. 15S-DV6 Elektrostatik Feldmeter Statiron DZ4 Präzises Feldstärkenmessgerät zur Messung von Aufladungen an Verpackungen, Gehäusen, Betriebseinrichtungen, Monitoren etc. Das Gerät kann zusammen mit der mitgelieferten Aufsteckelektrode auch zur Kontrolle von Ionisatoren eingesetzt werden. -

Nettoyage et maintenance Nettoyage du AGZ 3 5.1.1 Lorsque le pistolet ionisant entre en contact avec de l’eau il est indispensable de le débrancher immédiatement et de procéder à son séchage. Lorsqu’il est en contact avec de l’air chargé, par exemple de particules huileuses, il doit être renvoyé... - Page 14 5.2.2 Les salissures sur la pointe d’ionisation (6d) réduisent l’efficacité de l’appareil. Il est nécessaire de dévisser complètement la buse (6) afin de procéder au nettoyage. General information Device description The AGZ 3 is a fast-acting ionizing gun for neutralizing charged objects and for removing dust and particles accumulated on objects due to electrostatic charge. The built-in high-voltage generator induces a high potential at the emitter (ionizing) needle. This results in AC corona discharge, which produces an equal number of both positive and negative ions. -

1000 V to 100 V (see IEC 61340-5-1). Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning the AGZ 3 5.1.1 If the ionizing gun comes in contact with water, switch it off immediately and thoroughly dry it. If it is exposed to air that contains, for example, oil, send it to an SSD-authorized service center for a full overhaul. - Page 21 5.2.2 Dirt on the emitter needle (6d) reduces the device’s performance. To clean the needle, the nozzle (6) must be fully unscrewed. The emitter needle and the inside of the individual parts of the nozzle (6a to 6c) can be cleaned with a nylon brush (do not use a wire brush!) or a cotton bud/Q-tip and a little alcohol or isopropyl alcohol.
