It is used to power IP cameras (48V) and the wireless system (24V) from a single PoE
power supply or PoE Switch in standard 802.3af (power on pins + 7.8 - 4.5). All power
connectors have a surge protection, so that devices connected to PoER are protected
from dangerous power surges.
