10. Now attach the centre roof pole of the frame (E to F) to the 'apex' of the Annexe frame. Extend
this pole outwards until the 90 degree pole with rubber coated clamp is in line with the side roof
pole of the awning. Centralise this pole to the Annexe and clamp to the side roof pole of the
awning. Carefully extend making sure you DO NOT over tension this pole. (Too much tension can
result in damage to the side awning pole).
11. Tweak the entire Annexe frame as necessary until the back, sides and roof of the Annexe are
drum tight. This is essential to allow rain water to run off and not pool.
12. If an Inner Tent is to be used with the Annexe, first peg down the groundsheet at each corner
pegging point, attach the Inner Tent tapes to the framework at the back of the Annexe and then
the front tapes to the sewn-in rings of the Annexe roof by the zip. See point 'O'" on diagram 1.
13. For more detailed instructions for the Inner Tent, please refer to the separate instructions found
within the Inner Tent bag.
14. Should you wish to re-fit the original side panel of the awning to offer a little more privacy or to
store the bikes and BBQ, simply reverse the awning side panel so the curtains are now facing into
the Annexe. Fix into place by bringing 1 zip slider from each side to meet in the centre of the zip
at head height, again between the points 'O' on the diagram.
NB.
If the side panel is re-fitted or an inner tent used, please ensure that the occupants are fully
aware of "Fire Precautions". We strongly recommend that if young children are to sleep in the Annexe,
the doorway is left unzipped to provide a quick, unhindered means of escape.
