Explanation of the Symbols
The lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. electric shock.
This symbol indicates specifi c risks associated with handling, function and use.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy. Keep devices that operate on the mains voltage out of the
reach of children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product
should be allowed to become damp or wet; never take hold of it if your hands are
wet!
With the wall plug transformers there is also the deadly peril of an electric shock!
• Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
Take hold of it on the sides of the housing and pull it out of the mains socket.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from
electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer
is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example, or
remove the safety fuse) and then switch off at the corresponding RCD switch, so
the socket is fully disconnected from the mains voltage.
You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of
the faulty wall plug transformer in an environment-friendly way, do not use it any
more.
Replace it with a new wall plug transformer with the same specifi cations.

Connection
• First switch off all devices, to which you will connect the radio transmission set.
• Connect the transmission stick to the HDMI output of a playback device, e.g. the HDMI output
of a PC graphics card, a laptop or a DVD/Blueray player.
The power of the transmission stick may be supplied either via one of the two wall plug
transformers included in the delivery or the USB cable included.
• Now connect the receiver module to a free HDMI input of your playback device (monitor or
TV) using the supplied HDMI-compatible connection cable.
• Connect the receiver module to the mains voltage using the supplied wall plug transformer.
Getting Started
• Switch on the receiver module by pressing the power button briefl y. The corresponding power
LED in the button lights up.
• Afterwards, turn the receiving terminal (monitor/TV) on. Furthermore, select the correct input
to which the receiver module is connected.
• Switch on the playback device (computer, DVD/Blueray player).
• After a few seconds the image of the playback device should appear on the receiver terminal/
device (monitor/TV). The transfer LEDs on the transmission stick and the receiver module
light up.
• By pressing the " " key on the transmission stick or the receiver module the transmission
channel (e.g. CH2) and the image resolution (e.g. 1080p) are displayed.
Information about the range
The transmission range between the transmission stick and the receiver module is max. 10 m.
The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
• walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• Coated / metallised insulating glass
• Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g., radiators)
• Proximity to human bodies
• Devices on the same frequency (radio video systems, WLAN devices, etc.)
• Proximity to electronic devices, electric motors, transformers, network components, computers
• The proximity to improperly shielded or uncovered operating computers or other electric
appliances
Therefore, an exact indication of the attainable transmission range is not possible and it
depends on the local conditions.
If you detect any blackouts, interference or similar, change the installation location of the
receiver module. Do not place the receiver module behind a television set.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason.
Disconnect the product from the mains supply before cleaning.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as these can cause discolouration.
Do not press too strongly on the surface when cleaning, to prevent scratch marks.
• The design of the wall plug transformers complies with protection class II. Only use
a standard mains socket as the voltage source for the wall plug transformers (see
section „Technical Data").
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
When using the USB cable make sure the USB port used to supply the power
provides a current of 500 mA (e.g. the USB port on the rear of a computer).
The receiver module can be mounted to the wall via two holes. Furthermore, there
is a camera thread for the fastening on a corresponding support.
Should your receiver module has a USB type A jack, this is only to be used for
confi gurations by the manufacturer. Do not connect any USB device!
The transmission LED on the transmission stick fl ashes quickly if there is no HDMI
signal, or fl ashes slowly, if the HDMI signal is not recognised correctly (e.g. resolu-
tion not supported).
