time. Read the following assembly and care in-
structions carefully.
Use the product only as described and for the
indicated areas of application. For damages

Use the product only for its intended purpose.
Any other use as well as modifications of the
product have to be considered as improper use
and could cause injuries or product damages.

for any damages resulting from such improper

safeTy insTrucTions
· Please read these directions for use carefully
before use! Keep these directions for use for
future reference.
· Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid dan-
ger of suffocation, keep packing materials
away from babies and children!
cauTion!
· Before pulling out the side screen awning
make sure that all mounting screws and safety
devices are properly fastened.
· Do not release the handle grip when extracting
/ retracting the awning.
· Do not use the side screen awning in heavy
rain, storm, snow and always store it in the
awning box when not in use.
· Do not use the side screen awning in frosty
conditions. Frost may damage the awning.
· Do not hang anything on the frame or on the
awning as this might damage the product.
· When installing heat sources pay attention to
a minimum distance of 2 m from the awning.
Pay attention to the wind direction as well.
· Always close the side screen awning in windy
days, heavy rain and when you are not using it.
· Check the overall installation and all the fas-
teners regularly, especially at the beginning
of a new season, to ensure the fasteners are
tightened and in good conditions.
· Observe the following local and national
norms and regulations in their respective valid
version:
· Work safety regulations
· Fire protection regulations
· Building regulations

Pay attention to the following criteria when
choosing a location:
· The side screen awning should be placed on a
level and firm surface.
· Choose a solid surface, since even slight vi-
brations loosen the lock and can damage the
side screen awning and also people.
· Do not install the side screen awning at high
and extremely windy locations, since it might
fall over and injure people.
· To avoid material damages through chafing
or rubbing from loose-hanging branches etc.
take care that the side screen awning will
stand free.
· Take care that there will be enough distance
between the side screen awning and firepla-
ces and pay attention to the wind direction.
assemBly insTrucTion
Check that all parts are present before starting
to assemble. Take yourself sufficiently time for
the assembly. Arrange an even work surface
of 2-3 square metres. Keep all parts and tools
within easy reach.
· 2 persons are required for the assembly.
· Please use all screws and nuts correctly when
installing. An invalid installed awning may
harm people.
