Never inspect the inside OR remodel this machine.
• This device includes high-voltage internal parts, and contacting them could
result in fire or electrical shock.
• Ask your nearest Pioneer authorized service center or your dealer for internal
inspection, adjustments and repairs.
Do not use the product if it produces a howling sound.
• Continuing to use the unit could cause damage to your ears. Lower the
volume before using.
1. Using the earphone-microphone set
• When removing the earphone-microphones from your ears grasp the main
earphone-microphones directly and do not pull the cord. Pulling the cord may
result in broken wires and malfunction.
• If the earphone tips become dirty, remove them from the main earphone body
and wash in a dilute mixture of neutral detergent. Air dry thoroughly before
reattaching.
• The earphone tips will degrade over long periods of use or storage. In this
event consult your dealer.
• When removing the earphone-microphone plug from the unit, do not pull on the
cord, but hold the plug securely and pull out.
• Sound quality might deteriorate or sound maybe interrupted if the plug is dirty.
Keep the plug clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth occasionally.
• When earphone-microphones are dirty, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Take care
not to blow into the speaker unit.
• In very dry environments, static electricity accumulated in the human body may
cause tiny shocks to be felt by the ears.
• When storing the earphone-microphone
with the unit, do not wrap the cord around
the unit, since the wire cores may break if
unnecessary force is applied to the cord
bushings.
