Post-Contaminated Environment Cleaning If the ventilator is operated in an environment where it may have been exposed to contamination from a hazardous materials accident, mass epidemic or weapon of mass destruction, Impact recommends that the guidelines below be followed. 1. The ventilator’s outer case should be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth and thoroughly dried with a lint-free cloth.

Flip the ventilator over and remove the front case assembly by lifting it straight up away from the ventilator module. Tighten the two 4-40 X 5/16 screws holding the USB Connector Plate to the replacement front case. Tighten the two (2) 6-32 X 5/16 screws that hold the CPU/UIM & SPO2 Stack to the front case. Make sure that all the pins on the header mate correctly.
