Unscrew sleeve in centre of microphone barrel.

Check stated frequency matches receiver unit and
case label. Insert 9V PP3 Alkaline battery (supplied)
observing polarity. WARNING: Considerable damage
may be caused if the battery is fitted the wrong way.
(Replacement battery RS stock no. 591-792).
