OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SETTING THE CLOCK When you connect the radio to your AC outlet for the first time the clock display will begin flashing "12:00". The flashing will stop when you set the time. Depress the TIME button and the HOUR button to set the correct Hour. Depress the TIME button and the MINUTE button to set the correct Minute.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO Set the BAND selector to the desired band, AM or FM. Set the VOLUME control to a low setting. Slide the FUNCTION switch to the ON position. Select your desired station with the TUNING control. Adjust the VOLUME control to the desired setting. When you are finished listening, slide the FUNCTION selector to OFF position to turn the radio 'Off'.
WAKE TO ALARM Set the FUNCTION selector to the ALARM position. The ”ALM” indicator will light up to confirm that the alarm is set. At the selected wake up time the alarm will beep. It will continue for about two hours and then shut off automatically.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Avoid installing the unit in locations described below: · Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters. · Places subject to constant vibration. Avoid operating your unit under direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
