No HDMI input on your TV? The Manhattan T1 and T2-R are designed for HD, which requires HDMI. However, if you have an older TV that doesn’t have HDMI, these models can almost certainly be connected to your TV using the Analogue AV Kit (not included). Select 'Smart Retune' and follow the on-screen instructions An incompatible HDMI resolution has been selected If you are using HDMI, the T1 may be set to an HDMI resolution that your TV does not support: Normally the T1 is set to auto detect the HDMI resolution but this can fail with some TVs.

T1's remote, change the 'Audio Output' setting in the Picture & Sound section of the Settings menu to 'Stereo PCM'. The T1 will the decode the Dolby Digital audio and output stereo audio instead.

If you're having difficulties, contact us and we will send you a USB pre-loaded with the software via normal post. Can I use the connect an external hard drive to the Manhattan T1 by USB and record or play video files? The USB connection is for software updates only.
